For the logo, I refined it by experimenting with balance, spacing, and scalability to ensure it would work across platforms, from print to digital. Throughout the process, I incorporated feedback and made adjustments to ensure the final design better aligned with EESI’s goals. This project strengthened my ability to translate an organization’s mission into a clear visual identity and showcased my design process from concept development to final execution.
EESI (Educating Engineering Students Innovatively)
During my work-study from January to May 2021 with Dr. Charmane Caldwell, I was given the opportunity to make a couple of posts for scholarship opportunities and to redesign the EESI logo. At the time, EESI, founded in 2017, was focused on motivating and supporting undergraduate engineering students, so it was important that the visual identity reflected both inspiration and professionalism.
